Where are the puppies raised? The puppies are raised in the home where they are loved, exposed to a lot of noises, and people for socialization. Some litters are raised in our home and some are raised in our partner homes under our curriculum and guidance.
-
When do the puppies leave to their new homes? We allow them to leave to their new homes at 8 weeks old. This gives them plenty of time to learn acceptable behaviors from their mom and socialization with their littermates.
-
How many litters do you have in a year?We have about 6 litters a year. This allows optimal time spent with each puppy.
-
What training do you do with the puppies?Early neurological stimulation, startle recovery exercises, we habituate the puppies to people, individual handling and training, socialization, obstacle and barrier challenges. We start extensive potty training at 3 1/2 -4 weeks old. We take them outside multiple times a day to potty on the grass to give them an early start!
-
Do I need to train my puppy/dog?Yes! This ensures a lifetime happy, healthy relationship with you and your dog. You should start learning the training before you even pick up the puppy. I always recommend some type of training whether it be in person at a local trainer or an online training program (Baxter and Bella) or BOTH! They have unlimited use of everything including lessons, videos, one-on-one professional help, classes, courses, events, games, activities, charts, checklists, training tips, tricks, tools and techniques. -
What if I only want a certain color and gender? We're sorry, we can't guarantee color or gender. We believe it is more important to match temperament of the puppy to the family and their lifestyle. It is very difficult to meet everyones specific needs on the deposit list and puppy pick is done in the order of deposits placed.
-
Do you have DewClaws removed? We do not have dewclaws removed anymore. We have done a lot of research on this subject and found that it is best for these highly active dogs to keep their dewclaws. At high speeds (especially when turning) or on slippery surfaces, these dewclaws provide extra traction and help stabilize the carpal (wrist) joint. Some dogs also use their dewclaws to help them climb trees, hike, hold objects to better chew on them, or climb out of the water if they've broken through ice.
-
Can you Guarantee size of the puppy full grown? We can give our best estimate on size but we cannot guarantee how much the puppy will weigh. Keep in mind, two different breeds and sizes are being mixed so the puppies can be bigger or smaller than expected.
-
Can I breed the puppy?Puppies are sold as "pets only", no breeding rights.
-
How much is the deposit? There is a $300 nonrefundable deposit to secure your spot on the pick list for the Mini and Petite litters. The Teacup litter has a $500 deposit. The deposit goes toward the balance when the puppy is picked up. We have an application and contract that would need to be filled out before a deposit is placed.
-
How is puppy selection done?Puppy selection is done based on order of deposits received. Selection is done at 4 weeks old. If you live out of town, puppy selection can be done by pictures, videos, and Facetime.
-
Do you ship puppies?Although we don't ship puppies via cargo, you are welcome to fly/drive to come pick up your pup. The puppies can fly back with you in the cabin at your feet in an airline approved carrier (sometimes the flight attendants let them sleep on your lap). We have had people fly from around the country and even from Canada and Mexico! We can meet you at the airport with your puppy. We can also help you arrange a flight nanny for pick up. A flight nanny will typically cost $600-1000 depending on the cost of the flight and the connections. Please see our DELIVERY section for more details.
-
What generation do you breed? We breed Teacup, Petite, and Mini F1b and Multigenerational Goldendoodles. Based on our genetic testing of the parents, the shed and allergy profile are the same for both F1b and multigen puppies. They are all low shed and hypoallergenic.
-
Do your puppies shed or trigger allergies? We only pair parents for the best outcome of little to no shedding. We coat test all of our parents. Our dogs are hypoallergenic. Hypoallergenic definition: Relatively unlikely to cause an allergic reaction.
-
Can you hold a spot on the pick list for me?Your spot on the litter pick list is only secured after your application is approved, the contract is filled out in full, and we receive a deposit.
-
Can a deposit be transferred to a different litter?Yes, a deposit may be transferred once to another litter and will be subject to the other litter pricing difference (if different). The new litter will be filled first come first serve, so your transfer could result in a different litter pick. You'd need to make your mind up when the puppies are 3 days old if you want to transfer to another litter.
-
Can you keep the puppy after the scheduled go-home date?If you are unable to pick up the puppy within 3 days of the scheduled go-home date then we ask that you not place a deposit on that litter. Please choose a litter that fits your timeline best.
-
Can I have my nonrefundable deposit back?We spend a lot of time conversing with you, answering your questions, reviewing your application, and processing the contract. The deposit not only holds your spot for us to turn others away, it is a processing fee. If there is a chance you might not get one of our puppies then please don't pay a deposit. Before you sign the contract please understand it's a nonrefundable deposit.
-
Can I switch litters after I place a deposit? We understand that life happens so we allow you to switch litters once! You can switch to a different litter until up to 72 hours after the puppies are born in your current reserved litter. If you try to switch litters after that, you will lose your deposit.
