Which size is best for you?
Teacups
Teacup dogs are the smallest, <12 lbs.

1. Portability: Due to their tiny size, teacup dogs are very easy to carry around, making them great for people who are on the go or who travel frequently, especially on planes. They fit comfortably in carriers and can even be allowed in places where larger dogs might not be welcome.
2. Minimal Space Requirements: If you live in a small apartment or have limited space, teacup dogs are ideal because they don’t require much room to move around and feel comfortable.
3. Lower Exercise Needs: Teacup dogs generally don’t need extensive physical activity. A few short indoor play sessions or a brief walk each day is usually enough to keep them happy and healthy.
4. Bonding and Attention: Because of their size, teacup dogs often bond very closely with their owners, enjoying constant affection and cuddling. Their smallness makes it easier to have them with you throughout the day.

Petites
Petites are between 12-25lbs

1. Easier to Manage: Petite goldendoodles are small but not as small as teacups. Their size makes training, grooming, and transportation simpler than larger sizes.
2. Perfect for Smaller Spaces: These smaller-sized dogs are ideal for apartment living or homes with limited outdoor space. They don’t need the room that a larger dog might require to feel comfortable.
3. Lower Exercise Needs: While petite goldendoodles are still playful and energetic, they don’t need the same amount of exercise as a larger dog. This can be convenient for people with busy schedules or less access to large outdoor areas.
4. Great Family Dog: Despite their size, petite goldendoodles are known for their friendly, affectionate personalities and typically get along well with children and other pets, making them excellent family dogs.
Minis
Minis are between ~25-35lbs
1. Compact Size with Big Personality: Mini goldendoodles are small enough to fit comfortably in smaller spaces yet still have a playful, engaging personality. They bring the lively nature of a larger dog without taking up too much room.
2. Moderate Exercise Needs: They’re active enough for play and daily walks but don’t require as much exercise as larger breeds, making them well-suited for families and individuals with moderate activity levels..
3. Adaptable for Apartments or Houses: Mini goldendoodles do well in various living environments, from apartments to larger homes. They’re small enough to feel comfortable in close quarters yet energetic enough to enjoy a yard if you have one.
